The Gin Blossoms brought a night of nostalgia to their sold-out Rivers Casino performance on Friday. With a setlist filled with songs that helped define the decade, the band showed exactly why the ’90s still rock more than three decades later.

Opening with “Follow You Down,” the crowd of nearly 1,000 fans was on its feet from the start. Lead singer Robin Wilson moved between tambourine and acoustic guitar throughout the night, bringing warmth and familiarity to fan favorites like “As Long as It Matters” and “Until I Fall Away.”

Even after lineup changes and plenty of obstacles throughout their career, the band showed no signs of slowing down with their current lineup: Robin Wilson on lead vocals, Jesse Valenzuela on rhythm guitar, Bill Leen on bass, Scotty Johnson on lead guitar, and Andy Herrin on drums.

In the final stretch of the set, the band ran through some of their biggest hits, reminding everyone why songs like “Hey Jealousy,” “Found Out About You,” and “Allison Road” have continued to stand the test of time.

Wilson’s voice carried the night with the same familiar warmth fans came to hear, while the band kept the show moving with a mix of hits, deeper cuts, and authentic chemistry throughout.
